Assistance for Isolated Children Scheme
This scheme provides a payment to help with the extra study costs for your children. You might be able to get this payment if your children can’t go to a state or public school because they live in an isolated area, have disability or have special health needs. Child Disability Assistance Payment

Payments for carers
Carer Adjustment Payment
This is a one-off payment to families who can’t get other income support when the family is going through significant adjustment because of the care needs of a child. You might be able to get this payment if you care for a child aged under 7 years who has recently been diagnosed with severe disability or a severe medical condition. Carer Allowance
This allowance provides an income supplement for carers or parents who provide daily care for an adult or dependent child or children. You may be able to get this payment if you care for someone with disability or a medical condition, or a frail older person, and if you also work or study. Carer Payment
This payment provides income support if you can’t work because you care for someone. You might be able to get this payment if you provide constant care in a private home for someone with a severe disability or severe medical condition or who is frail and elderly, and if you aren’t away from them for more than 25 hours a week to work. Carer Supplement

Young Carer Bursary Program
This is financial help to reduce your need to have a part-time job if you are studying or training and taking care of someone. NDIS supports
Local Area Coordinators (LACs)
If you are aged 7 and above, Local Area Coordinators (LACs) can link you to the NDIS and to mainstream and community supports in your area.
