Health Care Card
If you get a payment from the government (eg a Disability Support Pension), you might also get a Health Care Card. This can help you get cheaper medicines and also gives you concessions on things like public transport tickets, taxi fares and your utility bills (eg electricity). You don’t need to apply for a Health Care Card – if you are eligible, you will be sent a card.
NSW Department of Education
The NSW Government website has information and services for families of children living with disability and additional needs. They can also provide you with early childhood support for students with disability.
Access2Arts – South Australia
Access2Arts provides people with disability to access the arts in South Australia. You can view events with Auslan captions or interpreters and there are funding opportunities for artists with disability.
