There are initiatives available in Victoria to help people with disability enter the Victorian public sector.
DeafBlind Connect
DeafBlind Victoria run program, events and activates that improve the quality of life for DeafBlind people and increase accessibility to information and resources, encourage social and community participation and provide opportunities to learn new skills such as Braille and Auslan.
South Australian Council on Intellectual Disability (SACID)
SACID run a range of capacity building workshops and peer groups for people with intellectual disability, family members, carers and general community.
Transition to Work
If you’re aged 15 to 24, Transition to work can help you to get a job by providing intensive pre-employment support. Transition to work providers have strong links with their local community, they often work with employers, community services and schools to help build your skills and get you employment ready.
Ticket to Work
The National Disability Services (NDS) has a Ticket to Work program to prepare students for the workplace. You can get involved with one of the Ticket to Work networks running in your area.

Generation Australia Junior Web Developer
This course can provide you with skills and training to help you get a job as a junior web developer. The program is adapted and co-designed with each cohort and involves intensive training, coaching and job placements to support young people with disability into employment.
