Raising the Bar - Game Changers
Raising the Bar is a Peer Support Leadership Program run by people living with a disability as Game Changers to create awareness and empowerment amongst the community. This program also engages schools to educate children about disability, Para Sports and achieving their goals.
Inclusion Support Program
The program provides support for eligible mainstream ECEC services to build their capacity and capability to include children with additional needs, alongside their typically developing peers. The ISP is part of the Child Care Safety Net and Child Care Package, your local Early Childhood Education Centre can also give you more information about accessing this support.
Hearing Services Program, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
If you have hearing loss you may be able to access hearing supports and aids through the Hearing Services Program. There is also a special program called the NDIS Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) program for children aged 0–6 years who have just been diagnosed with a hearing problem.
