The LEMI program offers people with mental illness and disability a safe place to belong, learn and grow. The program encourages you to will assess the barriers, develop skills, build strengths while supported through mentoring and peer-support.
Family and Carer Support, THE TRUST—Beyond the Stigma
This program offers support for carers and other people impacted by mental health issues, including social and recreational support groups, counselling (carers only), education workshops, and respite accommodation.
ACT Mental Health
There are a range of mental health services offered in the ACT. This includes emergency assistance, support groups, counselling services and treatment options for adults, children and teenagers suffering from a mental illness. The Centre offers advice, assessment and consultation for people with intellectual disability and complex needs.
Centre for Disability Studies – Complex Care Service
The Complex Care Service is for adults with intellectual disability who have complex health needs and can’t get these met by another service. The service includes nurse led multidisciplinary health assessments, healthcare plans, advice, and referrals. Services are in person or using telehealth.
