Oxygen and Equipment Services
If you are an eligible ACT resident, you may be able to access oxygen and equipment services through the ACT Government.
Orthotics and Prosthetics SA (OPSA)
Orthotics and Prosthetics SA (OPSA) provides treatment for people with limb difference or amputation, and for all orthotic needs.
Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme
You may be able to access subsidy funding for medical aids and equipment if you have a permanent/stable disability. Aids and equipment are subsidy funded either on a permanent loan basis, private ownership or through the supply of consumables.
Seating Equipment and Technical Service (SEAT)
If you are a NT resident with functional impairment with intermediate to complex seating, wheeled mobility, pressure care and assistive technology needs you may be eligible for SEAT. SEAT is a NT Government service that provides customised pressure care, mobility, and seating equipment. SEAT also provides necessary modifications to prescribed wheelchairs as well as fabrication of customised seating systems and pressure cushions.
Orthotic Prosthetic Services Tasmania (OPST)
Orthotic Prosthetic Services Tasmania (OPST) is a state-wide service with facilities in Burnie (NWRH), Hobart (94 Davey St) and Launceston (LGH). OPST provides treatment and rehabilitation through the provision of orthotic, prosthetic and specialised seating services.
Community Aids and Equipment Program (CAEP)
If you have a long-term disability and are living at home in the community, you may be able to access funding through CAEP to assist with the cost of equipment and home modifications.
