You might be able to get this payment if you care for a child aged under 7 years who has recently been diagnosed with severe disability or a severe medical condition.

You might be able to get this payment if you provide constant care in a private home for someone with a severe disability or severe medical condition or who is frail and elderly, and if you aren’t away from them for more than 25 hours a week to work.
