ACT Workshop: Resources for Private Guardians

The ACT Government is holding a workshop to seek feedback on resources they are developing for private guardians.

A key deliverable under Australia’s Disability Strategy’s Safety Targeted Action Plans for the ACT, these resources focus on the role of guardians, their responsibilities and supported decision-making.

The workshop will be held on 1 December 2013 and is open to people with experience with private guardianship, including:

  • adults who currently have a private guardian
  • adults who used to have a private guardian
  • people who are, or have been a private guardian
  • professionals with experience with the guardianship system
