Australia’s Disability Strategy Advisory Council meeting - with guest Hon Minister Amanda Rishworth
Australia’s Disability Strategy Advisory Council (Advisory Council) met on 2 August 2023. Ms Jane Spring, Chair of the Advisory Council, welcomed five new members for their first council meeting, including four state and territory disability council representatives. Ms Spring also welcomed the Minister for Social Services, The Hon Amanda Rishworth as a guest.

The Advisory Council’s key purpose is to provide high-level advice to the Australian, state and territory Disability Ministers and governments (including local governments) on the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021-2031.
