Grace喜歡戲劇，其中一個最重要的原因是戲劇能使人們匯聚在一起。
作為一名製作人、作家和導演，她很早便意識到自己在這方面的興趣。她的第一部劇作上演時，她還是肯亞一個難民營裡的孩子。
她表示：「劇終謝幕時，我在觀眾裡看到了我父親，他的笑容是那麼燦爛。」
就在這刻，Grace便決定要從事戲劇工作。
