This program funds South Australians who are otherwise ineligible for mobility and support equipment and home modifications, through Commonwealth options.

The HME Scheme provides eligible Queensland residents who have undergone laryngectomy surgery with subsidised access to HME consumable devices.

If eligible, you may be able to access a subsidy towards the cost of assistive technology items and/or modifications through the SWEP.

If you or someone you care for is older, you may be able to access home modifications (e.g. ramps and rails), as well as goods, equipment and assistive technology as part of a home care package.
