Inclusive Employment Australia is a new specialist disability employment program. It assists people with disability, injury or health condition to prepare for, find and maintain work and grow their career.

Replacing the Disability Employment Services (DES) program on 1 November 2025, Inclusive Employment Australia improves and simplifies services for people looking for work, as well as for employers and service providers.

On the Couch Group

This group meets to talk about making friends, having a good home and finding a job.

Being Leadership Academy

Being Leadership Academy offers a range of short courses and workshops designed for people living with mental health issues.

The Friendship Project

The Friendship Project is designed to help young people with intellectual disability build skills and the confidence to make positive friendships.

Career Launchpad

Career Launchpad can help you with personalised coaching and vocational support to assist your transition from school to work.

SpeakUP: Building skills and confidence for participation at school

SpeakUP can help young students build skills and confidence to participate at school and achieve their goals.

Ticket to Work

The National Disability Services (NDS) has a Ticket to Work program to prepare students for the workplace. You can get involved with one of the Ticket to Work networks running in your area.

Transition to Work

If you’re aged 15 to 24, Transition to work can help you to get a job by providing intensive pre-employment support. Transition to work providers have strong links with their local community, they often work with employers, community services and schools to help build your skills and get you employment ready.

Career Transition Assistance

If you want practical support to transfer your job skills from one role to another, Career Transition Assistance (CTA) can help you. You can also improve your technology knowhow if necessary.

Inclusion Australia (NCID)

NCID has a dedicated online portal designed for people with intellectual disability that includes employment pathway information, data and research. They also host workshops and events that you and your family can attend.
