Limbs 4 Life - Peer Support

Peer Support links individuals (and their families) pre or post amputation with trained amputees who have experience living with, and adapting to limb loss.

Deaf Nav

Deafnav is a portal helping people access and connect with the deaf and hard of hearing community. It provides resources, support and services for deaf and hard of hearing people, their families and carers.

NextSense

NextSense provides  services aimed at breaking down barriers for children, adults and families of people with hearing or vision loss.

Confident Voices Australia

This program is designed to help young people who stutter develop the self-confidence and courage they need to communicate more effectively.

Local Area Coordinators (LACs)

Local Area Coordinators (LACs) can link you to the NDIS and to mainstream and community supports in your area. You can ask your LAC about the supports available in your community, even if you're not eligible for an NDIS support plan.

Aussie Deaf Kids

If your child is deaf or hard of hearing you can access a range of resources through the Aussie Deaf Kids website. There are also a range of online support groups that you can join.

Village Creek Centre

The Village Creek Centre runs equipment trials and assessments with occupational therapists that are available by appointment. You can also visit the Village Creek Centre without an appointment for simple advice.

Vision Australia

If you are blind or your vision is limited, Vision Australia has information and advice on adaptive technology.
