Transport Concession Entitlement Card for Ex-defence Personnel with a Disability
If you're a war veteran with a service-related disability, you can apply for an ex-defence personnel transport concession entitlement card. This card entitles you to free travel on most public transport.
Pensioner SmartRider
If you receive a Carer, Aged Pension or Disability Support Pension, you can apply for a Pensioner SmartRider card. This card allows you to travel at discounted rates and free off-peak travel on public transport.
MyWay Concession pass
The MyWay Concession pass allows you to travel on public transport for free or at a discounted rate.
Access Travel Pass
If you have a physical disability or cognitive condition, you can apply for an Access Travel Pass. This pass entitles you to free travel on metropolitan trains, trams and buses, V/Line trains and coaches and regional services.
Transport subsidy schemes
The transport subsidy scheme gives eligible people discounted travel on public transport.
Australian Government Mobility Allowance
You can apply for a Mobility Allowance if you're unable to use public transport and need help with travel costs for work, study or looking for a job. Note this is not available to people on an NDIS plan.
