You can access resources for students with disability through the Australian Disability Clearinghouse on Education and Training (ADCET).

Professional learning

Professional learning is available for teachers, such as implementing classroom adjustments and upholding obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act and the Disability Standards for Education.

NDIS – support to attend school

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) can support your child with daily school activities, including transport, eating and moving around. You can access equipment like a wheelchair or assistive technology, such as hearing aids.

This website provides evidence-based resources to help you support students with complex reading difficulties.

The NSW Government website has information and services for families of children living with disability and additional needs. They can also provide you with early childhood support for students with disability.

The Autism Hub can help you find information on services and resources to help support students with autism.
