SBS Inclusion Program

The SBS Inclusion Program offers free disability inclusion resources to help educators, workplaces, and communities better understand and support people with disability.

Bendigo and District Aboriginal Co-operative (BDAC)

BDAC supports the health and wellbeing of Dja Dja Wurrung community (Jaara people) and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents living in the Dja Dja Wurrung boundaries with a range of holistic services, including medical care, disability services, social and emotional wellbeing , youth services and education needs.

Community Visitor Program

If you are concerned about the standard of care of a family member in a mental health or disability facility, Community Visitor Program Coordinators can visit the facility to ensure appropriate standard of care.

Local Area Coordinators (LACs)

Local Area Coordinators (LACs) can link you to the NDIS and to mainstream and community supports in your area. You can ask your LAC about the supports available in your community, even if you're not eligible for an NDIS support plan.

The ‘MY HOME’ Project - Building capacity to maintain tenancies

Workshops that bring together tenants with disability and housing sector representatives to improve rental experiences and help tenants with disability to be better placed to manage their home life and reduce risk of homelessness.
