The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Services (BIRS) is a South Australian statewide specialist rehabilitation service for people in South Australia.

Print Disability Services (Vision Australia & VisAbility)

The Print Disability Services Program supports organisations to produce print material in alternative formats for people with print disability who are unable to read standard print with ease due to vision impairment, a physical disability or a learning disability.

Mail for the blind (Australia Post)

If you are sending a parcel or letter that helps the blind then in most cases, you can send it for free. For domestic letters, eligible items must weigh no more than 500g, and domestic parcels must be under 22kg.

Key Word Sign Australia

This program will deliver nation-wide information resources and education to increase the accessibility, quality and consistency of information available regarding the Key Word Sign strategy for people with disability with complex communication needs. Participants will have the opportunity to learn, understand and apply Key Word Sign with the aim to assist with self-expression and social and economic participation.

Accesshub – National Relay Service (NRS)

The NRS can help you communicate over the phone if you are deaf, hard of hearing or have difficulties with speech.

Statewide Audiology Service

Tasmania has a statewide audiology service with a full range of diagnostic services including behavioural and electrophysiological tests, cochlear implant assessment and rehabilitation, newborn hearing screening and diagnostic assessment and support, and the provision of loan assistive listening devices to patients at Royal Hobart Hospital.
