The Postal Concessions for the Blind Program helps people who are blind or vision impaired send eligible items through Australia Post for free or at a lower cost. The program can be used for items such as Braille materials, large print products, audio recordings and other accessible information.

The National Sign Language Program (NSLP) provides free sign language interpreting and captioning services for older people who are Deaf, Deafblind or hard of hearing. The program helps people communicate when using aged care services, attending health appointments, and taking part in social and community activities.
