South Australian Intellectual Disability Health Service (SAIDHS)

Formerly known as Centre for Disability Health offers advice, assessment and consultation for people with intellectual disability and complex needs.

Disability Royal Commission Counselling Services (Drummond Street Services)

If you have been affected by the Disability Royal Commission, you may be able to access free independent counselling services through Drummond Street Services.

Disability Royal Commission Counselling Services (Interrelate)

If you have been affected by the Disability Royal Commission, you may be able to access a free independent counselling services through Interrelate.

Family and carer mental health support services and programs

A state-wide program that offers support to families and the carers of people with a mental illness. The program offers education and training, information, resources and one-one support.

Family and Carer Support, THE TRUST—Beyond the Stigma

This program offers support for carers and other people impacted by mental health issues, including social and recreational support groups, counselling (carers only), education workshops, and respite accommodation.

Family Mental Health Support Services (FMHSS)

FMHSS aims to improve mental health outcomes for children and young people, and their families. Through FMHSS you can access early intervention support for children and young people who are showing early signs of, or are at risk of developing, mental illness.

Headspace

Headspace provide mental health support to 12-25 year olds. There are a range of supports which include face-to-face, telehealth, online and phone support service, vocational services and education programs.

mindDog

mindDog is a not-for-profit registered charity that offers a type of assistance dog called a psychiatric assistance dog, which you may be able to access if you have a mental health condition.
