We Care NSW

If you are an Aboriginal person with a psychosocial and/or intellectual disability We Care NSW can help you can connect with others, participate in activities that promote connection with culture, identity and empowerment, and link into support including health and community services.

Women’s Health Centres

There are many Women’s Health Centres across NSW.

BRAM NDIS Service

BRAMS can assist Indigenous and people with disability to access supports and the disability system, and provides confidential, culturally responsible and sensitive service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who may be facing challenges in their lives, which are impacting upon their social and emotional wellbeing.

Audio Ability

Audio Ability is a project that will mentor, train and assign work placement for people living with disability in community media and creative industries across Australia.

Medicare

Medicare is an Australian Government program that gives free or subsidised (cheaper for you) treatment from doctors and other health professionals, and in hospitals.

Age Pension

If you are Age Pension age and receive a Disability Support Pension, you can apply to transfer to the Age Pension.
