Summary version Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021-2031
This summary version of the Strategy provides a simple overview of what the Strategy does.
The Outcomes Framework sets out how we will measure improvements in outcomes which will help us to see if the lives of people with disability are improving over time.
Data Improvement Plan
This plan is about improving the way we collect data over the next 10 years. Improving data will help track how governments are working towards their goals and actions.
People with disability will have a say in how the Strategy is working. The Engagement Plan shows how we will do this.
Good Practice Guidelines for Engaging with People with Disability
These Guidelines provide practical advice for engaging with people with disability in an inclusive, respectful and appropriate way. This is an Easy Read version of the Executive Summary.
Implementation Report Summary
This Summary Report provides an overview of state, territory and local government activities and achievements and demonstrates how this is improving outcomes for people with disability.
Targeted Action Plans
There are currently five Targeted Action Plans but more will be done in the future. These Easy Read versions explain what will happen for each of the Targeted Action Plans.
Public forums and Consultations Reports
The first National Forum was held on 2-3 November 2022. A report summarising the outcomes of the Forum is available in Easy Read.
