If your child has a disability, there are disability support services that can help with their learning.
Deaf Connect Ed
Deaf Connect Ed provide information for people who are Deaf or hard of hearing, studying or just thinking about studying. They work with the Victorian Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector, with the aim of improving educational and employment pathways for people who are Deaf or hard of hearing.
Early childhood education
Young children with disability may experience early childhood education at home, at childcare centres, at pre-schools or at kindergartens. Early childhood education occurs the year before full-time schooling starts. Information and support may be available to help you make sure that your child with disability and/or developmental delay has a positive start to their education.
Primary and high school
Once formal schooling starts, it is important for children with disability to be part of an inclusive community, contribute to classroom activities and build positive relationships.
Communication Rights Australia
If your child is unable to speak or make themselves heard, you may be able to access support or resources through Communication Rights Australia. You can download resources to help students and teachers and share the toolkit with your school or care centre.
Tertiary education
When you finish high school, you could go on to do further studies or training. The Australian Government and other authorities provide strategies, services and support for young people with disability. They’ll help you to get the most out of your tertiary experiences.

In Victoria, Children and Young People with Disability Australia (CYDA) is a community organisation that represents those aged from 0 to 25 with disability. The organisation links children, young people and their families to government and other stakeholders.

Edspace Education and Training Centre a calm learning environment that provides personalised training for students aged 11-18 who have medical or developmental issues.
Wheelie Awesome
Wheelie Awesome is a program dedicated to the vocational training and development of young people with disabilities in bike maintenance, retail and personal skills.
