The Safety, Rights and Justice Targeted Action Plan sets out key actions to:

  • prevent people with disability from experiencing harm
  • improve supports for those at risk of harm.  

The plan is based on the recommendations from the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of people with Disability. People with disability also identified these as priority outcomes in Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021–2031.
