YAMBI youth workers support young people aged 12 to 21 (and 8 to 11 where an older sibling is also receiving support) with support where they are experiencing mental ill-health and/or need disability support.

The centre offers a program for people over 18 years, have a diagnosable severe and complex mental illness and are experiencing significant challenges with daily life.

Delivered to people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds in the Brisbane region.

Australia’s Disability Strategy

Australia’s Disability Strategy Advisory Council (Advisory Council) met on 2 August 2023. Ms Jane Spring, Chair of the Advisory Council, welcomed five new members for their first council meeting, including four state and territory disability council representatives. Ms Spring also welcomed the Minister for Social Services, The Hon Amanda Rishworth as a guest.
