Australian Disability Clearinghouse on Education and Training The NDIS pre-planning toolkit can help you get ready for Higher Education or Vocational Educational and Training studies. You can access resources for students with disability through the Australian Disability Clearinghouse on Education and Training (ADCET).
Professional learning
Professional learning is available for teachers, such as implementing classroom adjustments and upholding obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act and the Disability Standards for Education.
NDIS – support to attend school
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) can support your child with daily school activities, including transport, eating and moving around. You can access equipment like a wheelchair or assistive technology, such as hearing aids.
Self-Employment Assistance
You can get help to start and develop your small business. Help is available with developing a business plan, training, mentoring and financial assistance.
Northern Territory Anti-Discrimination Commission
Rights and responsibilities differ, depending on where you live and work. If you feel your rights as a worker haven’t been met, you can lodge a complaint and the commission will help.
