Community Aids and Equipment Program (CAEP)
If you have a long-term disability and are living at home in the community, you may be able to access funding through CAEP to assist with the cost of equipment and home modifications.
Continence Aids Payment Scheme
If you are over 5 years’ old and have severe and permanent incontinence you may be able to access an annual payment to help you pay for your continence supplies.
Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA’s) Rehabilitation Appliances Program
If you or someone you care for is a veteran you may be able to access supplies aids and appliances – such as continence products, mobility aids and diabetes supplies – to help manage your health and wellbeing. You must be referred by a GP to access the program.
Disability Elders of All Ages
The Disability Elders of All Ages is running a series of regional workshops in South Australia on the use of digital technology by people living with physical or sensory disability.
Dog and Cat Management Board
In South Australia assistance dogs can only be accredited under the Dog and Cat Management Act 1995, by either the Dog and Cat Management Board or the following prescribed accreditation bodies:

Early intervention services and supports National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

If you have children with a disability you may be able to access early intervention services and supports through the NDIS to help them get a head start on the equipment they need.

If you have an intellectual disability and want to learn how to become a leader, or want to be supported or support others, the Leadership and Peer Support program may help you.

The NSW public sector is working to reflect the full diversity of the community in its workforce. The sector needs to include and support individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer/questioning and ace (LGBTIQA+).
