Brighter Beginnings – Parent and Carer Information Hub

The Parent and Carer Information Hub has services and resources including health and development information, mental health and wellbeing support and financial assistance, for parents and carers from pregnancy until age 5.

Support for victims or survivors of sexual violence or crime

WWILD supports people with intellectual or learning disabilities who are victims or survivors of sexual violence or have been victims of crime.

We also work with the families, carers and services who support them.

Embrace

Embrace Multicultural Mental Health (the Embrace Project) provides links to information and translated resources on multicultural mental health and suicide prevention services for multicultural communities. The Embrace project is run by Mental Health Australia and provides a national focus on mental health and suicide prevention for people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.

Qlife

QLife provides anonymous and free LGBTIQ+ peer support and referral for people in Australia wanting to talk about sexuality, identity, gender, bodies, feelings or relationships.

ReachOut

ReachOut helps young people access support as they experience mental health challenges. ReachOut is free, 100% online, anonymous and confidential, and provides one-to-one peer suport, moderated online communities, tips, stories and resources.

Fill the Gap

Eating Disorders Families Australia’s Fill the Gap program provides free tailored online counselling and peer support for those who are caring for someone with an eating disorder. The service is provided via videoconference with professional, lived-experience counsellors so carers can access help nation-wide.

This website has tools and resources to help NDIS participants make decisions about their behaviour support plans.

Chorus - Psychosocial Support

Chorus offers community-based mental health support through one-to-one coaching and group activities for people living with severe mental health challenges.

360 Health and Community

If you have a serious, persistent mental health condition which directly effects your everyday functional capacity, 360 Health and Community may be able to help you build your support network and access psychosocial support services within your community.
