Communication Rights Australia
If your child is unable to speak or make themselves heard, you may be able to access support or resources through Communication Rights Australia. You can download resources to help students and teachers and share the toolkit with your school or care centre.

Australian Government – Transition to Work program
If you are a young person aged 15 to 24, you can gain skills and support through the Transition to Work program. The program can help you become an apprentice or trainee and link you to potential employers.
Assisted School Travel Program
If your child is living with disability and enrolled at school in NSW, they may be able to get assistance with travel through the Assisted School Travel Program (ASTP).
Assistance for Isolated Children Scheme
If your child is unable to attend a local government school because of geographical isolation, disability or special needs, you may be eligible for help through the Assistance for Isolated Children scheme (AIC).
Association for children with a disability
The Association for children with a disability provides a support line, workshops, information and resources to assist children with a disability and their families with early intervention and access to schools.
