Taxis and rideshare services

All states and territories have wheelchair accessible taxis (WATs). When booking a taxi, be sure to ask for a WAT if you need it. You may also want to check with your state or territory government about cheaper fares. Most state or territory governments will cover part of the cost of a taxi trip for people with disability.

Taxis and rideshare services are also good ways to get around.

Rideshare services are companies that organise for someone to drive you where you want to go.
